In 2019, SLSRA starting partnering with World Wide Technology Raceway to help create a STEM presence at the racetrack in Madison, Illinois that was purchased by WWT. Our first event was at the 2019 BOMMARITO AUTOMOTIVE GROUP 500 INDYCAR RACE on August 24, 2019. STEM Lane was an exhibition area focused on kids and STEM that ran through the midway at the racetrack that drew a dozen STEM focused exhibitors and over 1,000 kids! SLSRA is partnering with WWTR for even more STEM Lane events in 2020, stay tuned!
