Best BotShow Ever! (and First)

I love this photo from Saturday's FIRST Tech Challenge meet at St. Louis Community College, Wildwood MO. Looking at this photo, and especially scanning the faces in the crowd, I see the realization of many of the things we imagined for this robotics season, and hope for even more. Saturday's FTC meet at STLCC Wildwood was the first of four that we helped schedule, and the host teams for this meet were the Cyber Ducks and the iBots. Our idea was that we would do the part that is so difficult for teams, i.e. the early advanced planning, and then let the host teams step in and do much of the work when the event approaches. And the teams did great, providing the student volunteers to run the f

Exhibitor Invitation to VEX Robotics Tournament

We will have around 30 robotics teams from around the state competing in an exciting robotics based engineering challenge. This event is open to the public and spectators are welcome. Doors will open at 8am and tournament finals are scheduled for 3pm. I am personally wanting to make this robotics tournament more than just about robotics but about introducing high school and middle school students to the man

Botshop at TechShop

For most of our Botshops, we also combined FLL and FTC activities in one event, to make the atmosphere more festive and interesting for everyone. Thanks to the vagaries of scheduling, we found that the last scheduled Botshop would occur after the Eastern MO FLL championship event, which was Saturday, and so we decided to focus our last Botshop on FTC, and take it on the road to TechShop St. Louis. Botshop at TechShop turned out to be a great way to int
